Anivia is a being of the coldest winter, a supernatural epitome of ice enchantment, and an antiquated defender of the Freljord. She orders all the force and rage of the area itself, calling the snow and sharp twist to guard her home from the individuals who might hurt it. A big-hearted however strange animal, Anivia is endlessly bound to keep vigil over the Freljord through life, demise, and resurrection.
Anivia is as much a piece of the Freljord as the ceaseless ice. Much sooner than mortals had ever set foot on the land's freezing tundra, she had lived endless lifetimes and passed on the same number of passings. The beginnings and closures of her endless cycle constantly proclaimed incredible change, from the cooling of boiling over tempests to the recurring pattern of ice ages. It is said that when the cryophoenix bites the dust, a period closes; and when she is renewed, another time starts.
Despite the fact that Anivia's past lifetimes have blurred from her memory, she knows her motivation: she must secure the Freljord no matter what.
When she was last renewed, Anivia saw the ascent of a strong and united human tribe. She monitored their territories with pride as they thrived, yet such solidarity couldn't keep going forever. The immense tribe cracked into three, and after that change, Anivia watched the populace of the Freljord get to be involved in fight.
